Getting to Revelstoke from the Airport
Most ski visitors fly into Kelowna or Calgary and drive to Revelstoke. We offer one-way rentals from both airports — pick up at the airport and drop off in downtown Revelstoke.
Kelowna (YLW)
Closest airport. About 200 km and 2.5 hours. Shorter drive, less winter driving. Recommended for most ski trips.
Calgary (YYC)
About 400 km and 4.5 hours. More flight options, especially domestic and US. Scenic drive through the Rocky Mountains.

Is there parking at Revelstoke Mountain Resort?
Yes. Revelstoke Mountain Resort has free parking at the base area. Lots can fill up on busy powder days, so arriving early helps. The drive from downtown Revelstoke is about 10 minutes via Camozzi Road.
Will my ski gear fit in a rental car?
Most of our SUVs and crossovers fit skis or a snowboard bag with the rear seats folded or angled. For groups with lots of gear, we offer roof rack and ski carrier add-ons that keep the cabin free for passengers. Reserve add-ons when you book.
Do I need chains to drive to Revelstoke in winter?
You need either winter tires (marked with the 3-peak mountain snowflake symbol) or chains on most BC highways from October 1 to April 30. All RevyCar vehicles come with mountain-rated tires year-round, so you are covered without buying chains.
Can I pick up a rental car at the airport for my ski trip?
Yes. We offer one-way rentals from Kelowna (YLW, about 2.5 hours), Calgary (YYC, about 4.5 hours), Vancouver (YVR), and Edmonton (YEG). We position a vehicle near the airport for self-serve pickup so you can drive straight to Revelstoke.
