1. Send Us the Details
Email us with your client's travel details and vehicle requirements. Use the checklist below to ensure we have everything we need.
2. We Confirm & Quote
We will respond with vehicle availability, a detailed quote, and any options. Expect a same-business-day response.
3. Client Picks Up
Your client receives pickup instructions directly from us. They pick up the vehicle and we handle everything from there.
Booking Request Checklist
To process an agency booking as quickly as possible, include the following information in your email:
- Client full name (as on ID)
- Client phone number and email
- Pickup date and time
- Return date and time
- Pickup location (Revelstoke or airport code)
- Return location (Revelstoke or airport code)
- Vehicle preference or requirements (seats, 4WD, etc.)
- Any add-ons needed (roofbox, child seat)
Required Documents
Your client must present the following documents at vehicle pickup. Ensure they have everything prepared before arriving.
Driver's License
A valid, full driver's license issued in the renter's home country or province. The license must be current (not expired) and must authorize the class of vehicle being rented.
Foreign renters: If a foreign-issued license is not in English, the renter must also carry an International Driving Permit (IDP), along with their passport. Some provinces may have additional requirements for foreign visitors.
International Driving Permit (IDP)
Required if the renter holds a foreign license that is not in English. The IDP must be obtained in the renter's home country before travelling to Canada. It is not a standalone document — the original license must also be carried.
Payment Card
A valid payment card in the renter’s name is required for rental charges and any security amount that applies — a credit card, or a debit card under our debit rules (Visa Debit by phone with a staff member or in person; other debit cards in person at the office). The card must be present at pickup, and a driver licensed outside Canada always posts the security amount.
Foreign renters: A driver licensed outside Canada always posts the security amount for the vehicle. Credit card or debit both work — debit under the rules in the payment note below — but cash is not accepted, and the card must match the name on the driver's license.
Credit Card Authorization Form
If the credit card holder is not present at pickup, a completed Credit Card Authorization Form must be submitted in advance. This allows a third party to authorize charges on their card.

Passport
A valid passport is required for all foreign renters as a secondary form of identification. Canadian residents may use a government-issued photo ID instead.
Proof of Third-Party Insurance
If the renter declines RevyCar's damage waivers, they must provide written proof of third-party insurance that covers rental vehicles in British Columbia. The proof must name the renter and show the policy is valid for the rental period. Declining also means the full security amount for that vehicle class is held.
Payment note: The renting client must have a valid card on file. Visa Debit can be handled over the phone with a staff member or in person; any other debit card is in person only, at the office (Mon–Sat 10 AM–5 PM). Debit always requires a security deposit — $300 sedan, $1,000 SUV, $2,500 full-size SUV or 4Runner — separate from the rental total. Renters licensed outside Canada always post the security amount for their vehicle; they may pay by credit card, or by debit under the rules above. Cash is not accepted. The driver must be the cardholder unless a Credit Card Authorization Form is submitted in advance.
